If you're reading this, it's actually a continuation of my long weekend trip spent in Inflatable Island. Read about it here: Inflatable Island — The Floating Playground in Subic! On the next day of our long weekend trip, we went to Anvaya Cove Beach and Nature Club. This beach Resort is for members only. However, if you do know someone who is a member, you can ask help to be able to visit the resort. Luckily, JB works at Ayala Land, the developer of Anvaya Cove, so we were able to go on a daytrip. Anvaya is quiet and has a great ambiance. The architecture and design of the whole place screams elegance and minimalist beauty. There are many activities to try in this resort but we just opted for a more relaxing day just swimming in the beach.
ANVAYA COVE BEACH & NATURE CLUB
Address: SBMA-Morong Road, Bataan
The famous pathway of Anvaya Cove.
Anvaya has very soft sand and doesn't have much rocks (unlike other beaches).
Happy faces because we finally had a decent date weekend!
The sun beds are perfect for napping by the beach and getting a tan.
Told ya, the beach is very clean!
There are also several eating places in the resort where you can enjoy meals while facing the seashore.
Pretty safe to say it was a wonderful day.
WHERE WE STAYED: ONE HORIZON HOTEL
Address: Lot 70 4, Canal Rd, Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Zambales, 2200 Zambales
Since we only went to Anvaya Cove for a daytrip, we stayed in a hotel that was just one hour away the beach resort. It wasn't anything fancy but it did offer great value for money. We were able to book our room through Agoda for only PHP 1,900 for 3 days and 2 nights. Not bad! This was already inclusive of our breakfast meals.
One Horizon Hotel is also really close to a Korean Barbeque Restaurant called Seoul Korean Bbq.
They offer set meals good for 3 that range from PHP 800 - PHP 1,000 (PHP 200 - 300 per head).
In summary, I had a really great weekend spent in these places. Definitely the relaxing getaway from the city that I needed.
Cheers to the long weekend!
Time to make your own memories! Happy Travels!
