About Patricia Jean Lao
Choose movement ~ not a calm course of existence.
I'd like to believe that this is my life philosophy; that's why I'm always here and there. I have always liked exploring and telling stories, so I choose to do these as well alongside my other responsibilities. Time and life are absolutely important to me — thus, I believe we owe it to ourselves not to waste them and do what makes our souls happy.
This is my challenge to myself and to others: Don't just course through life and find that you're at the same place where you were before. Constantly cultivate, rejuvenate and build yourself; whether it's through going places or pursuing your hobbies.
Sometimes we lose ourselves somewhere in the middle of coursing through life; and while taking on new chapters and interests are part of development, always give time for what makes you feel like you're truly living.

- a tube containing mirrors and pieces of colored glass or paper, whose reflections produce changing patterns that are visible through an eyehole when the tube is rotated.
Ever since I was young, I have always loved how a kaleidoscope can appear so plain and simple from the outside; but when you take the time to look through it, the different colors that dance inside will fascinate you.
Similarly, even in simple ways, I want to design my life by sharing stories of my own colorful bits and pieces. Hopefully, these stories encourage others to venture out and make their own wonderful memories as well.

My Full-Time Career:
Life in Selecta Ice Cream
"One Heart, One Fight!"
That is Selecta's battle cry and we choose to live by this code. Each day, I am reminded of how lucky I am to be part of a winning organization with brilliant people. In Selecta, I have learned the value of malasakit — one of which I want to live by even in my personal life. It is about expressing your love and care for something by going above and beyond what is expected of you, even if it is not asked for.
Selecta is also all about providing sustainable livelihood. I have always wanted to find ways to uplift people's lives. Thus, I am grateful to be part of an organization that envisions to spread happiness to everyone even in the simplest of ways.
Of course, the best way to know more about me, is to actually get to know me. Read more of my stories or leave me a message!
